Donut Run! Through Being Cool

So I find myself leaving the barber on Saturday and inexplicably driving in the wrong direction.  I mean, it’s Saturday, I’ve got things to do, but I’m going the wrong way.  And then it hits me.  Donut Run!

Through Being Cool Vegan Baking Co. is one of my go-to spots in Toronto both because its close, and because its delicious.  They always have a large selection of donuts that they bake daily (unless they run out, which has happened to me once or twice [icon name=”frown-o” class=”” unprefixed_class=””]) and as well they have sandwiches, coffee, prepared meals that you can take home, and all kinds of other goodies.

Saturday was good, it wasn’t too busy – I’ve been there when it was packed – and there was still a good selection of donuts available.  We were having folks over for brunch the next day, so I picked up a 6 pack of assorted donuts that included blueberry glazed, plain glazed, matcha glazed, sprinkled, blueberry filled, and something else.  And a reverse boston cream for myself.  And a pizza roll.

As it happens, the next day’s brunch didn’t happen, so it became necessary for me to take care of that 6 pack on my own – well, call it a 5 pack, I had a bit of help.  Mission accomplished.
